Tired of White-Knuckling it?

Holistic coaching for women’s minds, bodies + spirit in midlife

Hi!

I’m Dr. Erin

Who am I?

From physician to board-certified psychiatrist to holistic psychiatrist and now midlife women’s wellness coach, I have worn many hats in my life.

I previously owned and ran a busy private practice. I am a certified yoga teacher and have completed breath work training. I am also a murder mystery writer. I have been married for 25 years and I have two children. I’ve done a lot of different things in my life.

And I’m grateful for all of it.

All of the twists and turns in my journey have given me the unique knowledge of what my authentic truth is: midlife is not the time to slow down, to disappear, or to suffer.

Women in midlife are powerful and wise beings who deserve to be listened to.

Who are you?

You are about to go through perimenopause or are smack-dab in the middle of it.

Or, you’ve navigated the choppy waters of perimenopause and are now in menopause and would like to work with someone who has a medical background and training and who believes that you are the expert about your own body. Someone who will support you and your goals in this new stage of life.

You might be struggling with anxiety, depression, low energy, low libido, poor sleep quality, little to no motivation and just a general “meh-ness” about life.

Bottom line:

You are ready for something different.

About 5 years ago, I woke up in the middle of the night, my body telling me there was something very wrong.

My heart was racing. It was skipping beats. It was flipping in my chest.

This cardio-party behind my ribs left me breathless.

I thought I was going to die.

After a few fraught and very scary days, my symptoms were cleared by my naturopath as not cardiac in nature but the result of extreme hormone fluctuation in perimenopause.

I couldn’t believe that I, as a physician with many years’ experience in women’s health, didn’t even think about perimenopause as the cause of my heart symptoms.

This was my aha! moment — if I felt scared and isolated in my perminenopausal journey and I had all of the education and information at my disposal, I must not be the only one suffering through this.

I decided, then and there, I was done white-knuckling through the symptoms, hoping one day they’ll just “stop.”

I decided, then and there, I was going to use my life experience and marry it with my medical training and education to specialize in women’s midlife health.

Why is this work my passion?

You are not crazy.

You are not alone.

You won’t just “get through” this time in your life.

Work with me and you’ll thrive.
