Who am i?
I have worn many hats in my life. From physician to board-certified psychiatrist to holistic mental health provider. I previously owned and ran a busy private practice. I am a certified yoga teacher and have completed breath work training. I am also a murder mystery writer. I have been married for almost 25 years and I have two children. I’ve done a lot of different things in my life. And I’m grateful for all of it.
All of the twists and turns in my journey have given me the unique knowledge of what my authentic truth is: you are more than your diagnosis, you deserve more than a short appointment where you get a prescription but not much support, and you are a wise and whole being who deserves to be treated as such.
Who are you?
You reside in California and you are ready for something different. Perhaps you have struggled with anxiety, depression, low energy, low libido, poor sleep quality, little to no motivation and just a general “meh-ness” about life.
You may have even seen (or are still seeing) a traditional psychiatrist or a family doctor who has prescribed a medication but maybe that medication is no longer working, has side effects or maybe you’ve been on it for so long that you can’t remember what it’s like to not be on it.
What do I offer?
I offer a free, 20-minute introductory call and then, if we are a good fit to work together, we’d schedule an initial, 60-minute intake session where we discuss your holistic health goals in depth and create an individualized wellness plan. After that, we’d meet weekly (virtually or in-person in my Old Pasadena office location) for at least 30 minutes.
While I am a board-certified and trained psychiatrist, I am also a holistic health guide who integrates both modalities into supporting and mentoring you to be your best self.
Perhaps you want to decrease or stop your current medications and I can coach you through this transition. Perhaps you want to continue your medications and incorporate additional tools. I love collaborating creatively to uncover what is truly in alignment for you.
